megamaster is a desktop application. Your hand histories, your database and everything computed from them live on your own machine. This page says exactly what leaves it, and what never does.

Your poker data never leaves your machine

Hands, hole cards, board cards, results, stakes, session times, screen names — yours or anyone else's — and any aggregate or anonymised version of them are never transmitted, by any feature, under any setting. There is no code path in the application that uploads poker data, and the services we run have no way to receive it.

What can leave: anonymous usage counts

The application can send us which of its features get used and how often — for example that the Lines map was opened, that an import completed, that a drill was played — together with a random install identifier, the application version, your operating system, and an install-time cohort label. Nothing in these events identifies you and nothing in them is poker data; the receiving service's database has no column that could hold a hand.

This is on by default and you can switch it off in Settings, where you can also read the exact file the application would send and delete it. When no receiving service is configured in a build, nothing is sent at all, and Settings says so.

Crash reports

Off by default. If you opt in, a crash report contains the error, the application version and a stack trace — never a hand, a card or your database.

Sign-in

Signing in with Google gives us your Google account identifier, name and email address, used only to identify you and to check what your account is entitled to. We do not read anything else from your Google account and do not share these details with anyone.

Phone drills

If you turn on Send my drills to my phone in Settings, two things leave your machine, and only these: your drill prescriptions — which spot, which street, which line, how many hands a day, your routine and its progress, and the sizing menus and grading settings a drill uses — and the decisions you make in drills played on the phone, so they appear in History on your computer. Those decisions are on hands the trainer dealt, not hands you played at a table.

Nothing from your database is involved. The drill service has no code path that reads a hand history, and the phone app cannot open one. Results wait on our server only until your computer collects them, and for at most 30 days; the drill service itself keeps nothing once a result has been handed over. Turning the toggle off stops both directions. The phone signs in with the same Google account and does not count as one of your two computers.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; Stripe tells us only whether a subscription is active.

This website

This site is static pages served from a content delivery network. We do not run analytics scripts, set tracking cookies, or embed third-party trackers.

Your rights and contact

You can ask us what we hold about your account and have it deleted at any time. Because your poker data is only ever on your machine, deleting it is a matter of deleting the application's database file. Questions: bitbcash@gmail.com.
