Shared hands

A shared hand is a hand the megamaster trainer dealt and someone played, published at a link so anyone can replay it. You step through it street by street on the same table the app uses, and at each of the player's decisions you see how the solver graded it.

What a shared hand shows

  • The table: positions, the player's two cards, the board as it was dealt, and the pot on each street.
  • The line, action by action, with Back and Forward to step through it.
  • At each of the player's own decisions: what they did, how often the solver takes that action with their hand, the solver's most frequent action, the grade, and the EV it cost where the spot was priced. A figure that wasn't measured reads "—", never 0.

What it doesn't

  • No ranges, strategy grids or explorer. The solved library is what megamaster is; a shared hand shows the solver's view of one hand at the player's own decisions, nothing more.
  • No names. The page doesn't say who shared it.
  • Only trainer hands. Hands imported from a poker site never leave the player's machine and can't be shared.

Shared hands aren't listed or indexed; a link is only seen by the people it's sent to, and the player can delete it at any time. Opens are counted, without cookies or IP addresses (see Privacy).

Examples

Three hands from the trainer, shared the same way a player would share one.

Sharing a hand

In the app, open the Share menu on a trainer hand (free play, a drill, a routine or an Arena) and choose Share link. The link is copied for you to paste wherever you like. Settings › Account › Shared links lists every link you've made, how often each was opened, and a Delete button.

Play these spots yourself, graded the same way.

megamaster's trainer deals you solved spots and grades every decision against the solver, then the rest of the app finds the same spots in your own hand histories. It runs on your own machine. It is in private testing now.
